VENUE
The venue Maharashtra Nature Park (MNP) at Sion is a beautiful park nestled right within the urban jungle of Mumbai with lot of sheltered spaces for us to have different kinds of interactions simultaneously. MNP with its lush green surroundings and rich biodiversity of plants, trees and birds was a landfill or garbage dump till about 20 years ago and stands testimony to what can be achieved.
CONTRIBUTION AND REGISTRATION
It is our deepest longing to make this Celebration accessible to all regardless of their financial resources. By doing so, we foster a special energy that exists when we share gifts in our communities.
The Urban Leaves community has grown through the gift culture. Our volunteers gift their time, creative energy,seeds, saplings, recycled drums/containers, etc....and we have grown without any corporate or institutional funds.
We now take the Leap Of Faith to organize an event based on this Gift Culture.
To inspire generosity and to have a greater understanding of the occurring expenses, as well as to support you in making a decision about how much to offer we would like to let you know that it will cost approximately Rs 500/- to cover our expenses towards food, venue charges, hiring charges for audio and visual aids, tables and other arrangements.
If you are able and willing to contribute more than the above mentioned amount, you actively support many others with less financial resources in their learning as well as the growth of future work.
We request you to deposit this contribution by the 20th of August 2013 by using any of the methods suggested in the Registration Form.
