A hands on session for learning "How to create a Natueco Farm" at Nana Nani Park

Dear Friends,

For the last one month or so you must have all seen our Urban Leaves volunteers busy making Amrut Mitti in the Nana Nani Park at Chowpatty.

What is this Amrut Mitti?
What is its relevance in our lives?
Why is it important to take the trouble to make it?
How can you grow vegetables for your own consumption in Mumbai?
How can you get involved?

These are some of the questions that must have crossed your mind.

Well, Urban Leaves volunteers are busy helping Mumbaikars to learn to grow their own food and recycle waste.Palak, Methi, Math, Pudina, Dhania, Tulsi, Chillies, lemongrass are veggies and herbs...... to name a few with which you can all get started on your own little farm, be it on the terrace or the little balcony!
